About Geoff
I build furniture and wooden objects by hand in a small shop, one piece at a time.
My work is rooted in traditional methods, raw materials, and a belief that useful objects can also be beautiful. I’m drawn to forms that feel timeless. I love chairs with light lines and strong proportions, bowls that highlight the character of the wood, and pieces meant to be handled, used, and lived with every day.
Each project begins with solid hardwood selected for its grain, movement, and natural presence. From there, the process is hands on: shaping, carving, turning, joinery, and finishing done with care and attention to detail. I’m especially interested in the balance between precision and individuality as I view these as the subtle marks and decisions that make a handmade object feel alive.
I make custom furniture, small-batch functional pieces, and one-of-a-kind work intended to age gracefully as it is handled and used.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope something here feels worth bringing into your home.
